Core dumping sucks…

So, my database server core dumped earlier today, it seems, leaving my blog unavailable for a bit. There wasn’t much in the way of description of what was going on, but after some research I found that just because I’ve got entries in my processes list from the server, doesn’t mean it’s actually running. After about an hour of fighting with it, I figured out what was wrong, got it started back up, but then the whole box was running TERRIBLY slowly. I think I’ve finally got it all taken care of, but boy, was that fun.
